Surgical procedures performed in the Institute
Our team is highly-skilled in both upper limb surgery (hand, wrist, elbow and shoulder), peripheral nerve microsurgery, lower limb surgery (ankle, foot, knee and hip), arthroscopic surgery and the treatment of sports injuries in general.
A surgical team specialized in treating sports injuries
The Hip and Knee centre is composed of four surgeons who are highly-specialized in reconstructive surgery of the knee and hip using the very latest medical technologies.
A multi-disciplinary approach which sees them working alongside sports medicine specialists from the ICOS13 centre enables them to offer highly-effective care to their patients.
The surgeons at the ICOS 13 centre are based in the Clinique du Sport Juge located right beside their consulting rooms:
Docteur Jean-Pierre FRANCESCHI
Docteur Abdou SBIHI
Docteur Thomas CUCURULO
Docteur Marie Laure LOUIS
All four are active members of the Société Francophone d’Arthroscopie (the society of Francophone Arthroscopic surgeons) and are regular participants in the various symposia organized by this globally-renowned medical association.
All work with different sports clubs and in this context performed over 1,000 Anterior Cruciate Ligament (ACL) reconstructions in the course of 2015.
