Stamford and Rutland Hospital, located in Lincolnshire, was founded in 2004. In 2010 it became the new 611-bed Peterborough City Hospital. Peterborough and Stamford Hospitals NHS Trust provides services to patients from south Lincolnshire, Cambridgeshire and Leicestershire.
Stamford Hospital has developed a strategy guided by the Trust Vision, in which the main objective is to improve patients’ healthcare. This strategy consists in doing the very best for patients and getting value for money for taxpayers.

Stamford and Rutland Hospital delivers many services including children’s and adolescent services, gastrointestinal and liver services, minor injuries services, rheumatology treatments and much more.
In April 2014, this Lincolnshire hospital switched to same sex accommodation only for greater patient privacy. For patients and visitors, a Medirest restaurant is open every day from 7.30am to 8.30pm. Coffee shops and other eateries supply a range of drinks and cakes for you to purchase.
